International School of Milan
For a student with serious STEM ambitions, ISM is a natural first choice in Milan. Well-equipped labs, small HL classes and a Maths/Physics team with deep IB experience.

St. Louis School Milan
For IB with STEM focus, St. Louis is solid without being stellar. Small HL classes help, but for highly ambitious STEM profiles ISM or BSM offer more depth in specialist teachers.

International School of Bergamo
For ambitious IB-STEM, ISB is solid but HL classes are smaller than at ISM. A good choice if the close-knit community matters more than the breadth of HL options.

Canadian School of Milan
For IB with STEM focus, Canadian is solid but smaller than ISM or BSM. HL classes have fewer students, which can be a plus (individual attention) or a minus (less choice of teachers).

International School of Como
For ambitious IB-STEM, ISC is solid but HL options are limited by size: fewer classes, fewer subject choices. If the student is truly aiming high in Maths/Physics, consider ISM or BSM.

For ambitious IB-STEM, IS Monza is solid but not exceptional: the mid-size limits the pool of specialist HL teachers. For very strong STEM profiles, ISM or BSM offer more depth.

Sir James Henderson British School of Milan
BSM does not offer the IB. If IB is your goal, look elsewhere (ISM, St. Louis, Canadian, Andersen). Only consider BSM if you are open to the British A-Level model.

Andersen International School
Confident student + IB + STEM ambitions: Andersen can feel constraining. The school is very strong on PYP/MYP, but for serious DP-STEM stretching ISM or BSM offer more.
