Why Choose a Private IB Tutor in Milan
The IB Diploma Programme is demanding. Students at Milan's international schools face unique challenges: rigorous assessment criteria, Internal Assessments, Extended Essays, and the pressure of predicted grades for university applications. A specialist IB tutor who knows the programme inside-out can make the difference between a 5 and a 7.

“Pietro turned my son's IB Math AA HL grade from a 4 to a 6 in one year. He explains things twice — once in English, once in Italian when needed.”
“Calm, structured, no panic. After the first lesson my daughter said: "finally someone who actually explains why."”

Frequently Asked Questions
How much do lessons cost?+
Standard lessons start from €70 per hour, with discounted rates for multi-lesson packages. Intensive transition or exam-prep programmes are quoted as a flat rate after the first call. Message me on WhatsApp for current rates.
Online or in person?+
Both. In person in Milan if your family is local; online for everyone else. The interactive whiteboard makes online lessons essentially identical to in-person for maths and physics.
In what language do you teach?+
English, Italian, or both — even within the same lesson. This is especially helpful for students who recently switched curriculum and still think in one language while studying in another.
My child is moving from Italian Liceo to IB. Can you help with the transition?+
Yes — this is one of my specialties. I have walked many students across the gap in both directions. The summer before the switch is the ideal moment for an 8-12 week intensive programme. See my dedicated page on curriculum transition for the full method.
How do I book a first lesson?+
Send me a WhatsApp message at +39 340 7397093 or use the contact form. I usually reply within 30 minutes. We will have a short call to align on goals, and from there book the first lesson.
Do you handle Internal Assessment and Extended Essay supervision?+
Yes — for Maths and Physics. I help students choose a strong topic, structure the investigation, and refine the written analysis. I cannot replace the school supervisor, but I significantly raise the final mark.
