How do you measure a student's progress?

Progress is measured against a baseline taken in the first session, when the student works through questions from a real official past paper. From there, errors are mapped to the official mark scheme rather than described in general terms, a written lesson report reaches the parents after every session, and full papers are sat under timed conditions and marked to the official scheme. A single mock is a snapshot; the series is the trend, and the trend is what we act on.

Are lessons in English?

Yes, lessons are primarily in English. I can also teach in Italian for students who prefer it.

How much does a lesson cost?

One published rate, the same for every student, subject and format, shown in your local currency on the site. It does not change with the size of the programme: a single lesson and a lesson inside a twenty-lesson programme cost the same. The first 20-minute assessment session comes with no commitment, and no programme is ever required.

Online, one to one, on a shared whiteboard your child writes on too. We work on real past papers, marked against the official mark scheme while we go, and the board is sent over afterwards.

IGCSE (taken at 14–16) builds strong subject foundations through structured exams, while the IB Diploma (16–18) is a broader programme with Internal Assessments and the Extended Essay. Many students do IGCSE first then progress to IB. I support both pathways and can advise on the best approach for each student.
