History & Overview

The International School Ticino (IS Ticino) was founded in 2014 in Cadempino, in the Swiss canton of Ticino. It is the newest member of the Inspired Education Group's cluster of IB schools in the Milan-Lombardy-Ticino region. Despite its young age, IS Ticino has quickly established itself as the reference point for international IB education in Italian-speaking Switzerland. The school offers the full IB Continuum — PYP, MYP and Diploma Programme — as well as the Career-related Programme (CP), serving approximately 170 students in a uniquely bilingual Swiss-Italian environment.
